Kern County Branch

We are a professional organization made up of teachers of all instruments in Bakersfield and the surrounding area. Current members teach piano, guitar, harp, french horn, violin, viola, cello, mandolin, and voice. All of our teacher-members are highly trained musicians, holding either degrees in their field or the equivalent qualifications. Students of MTAC teachers have the opportunity to participate in a variety of recitals and adjudicated events throughout the year. There are nearly 5000 teacher-members in California.
