Festivals

Fall “Jazz/Pop” Festival

In October students perform in a festival in front of a panel of judges and an audience. Participating students will receive written evaluations from the judges and a medal. Some students will be selected as “Judges Choice” and will receive a trophy and be eligible to perform in the Branch Honors Recital.

Winter “Music in Nature” Festival

Students will perform music of the designated era or genre in front of a panel of judges and an audience. Students will receive written evaluations from the judges and a certificate. Some students will be selected as “Judges Choice” and will receive trophies and be invited to perform in the Branch Honors Recital.

Baroque Festival

Students perform music of Baroque composers in front of a panel of judges and an audience.  Students will receive written evaluations from the judges and a certificate. Selected students will receive trophies and be invited to perform in the Branch Honors Recital.
