Festivals

Fall “Jazz/Pop” Festival

In October students perform in a festival in front of a panel of judges and an audience. Participating students will receive written evaluations from the judges and a medal. Some students will be selected as “Judges Choice” and will receive a trophy and be eligible to perform in the Branch Honors Recital.

Winter “Romantic Style” Festival

Students will perform music of the designated era or genre in front of a panel of judges and an audience. Students will receive written evaluations from the judges and a certificate. Selected students will receive trophies and be invited to perform in the Branch Honors Recital.

Baroque Festival

Students perform music of J.S. Bach or other Baroque composers in front of a panel of judges and an audience.  Students will receive written evaluations from the judges and a certificate. Selected students will receive trophies and be invited to perform in the Branch Honors Recital.
